Chester Town Hall
Greenough & Sons were pleased to have acted as Main Contractors on the restoration of Chester Town Hall. The restoration was carried out as part of the Chester Renaissance scheme and completed within schedule in April 2009.

The re-roofing was carried out by our directly employed skilled craftsmen, using new Westmorland slate on the front elevation and Welsh Penrhyn slate on the rear. Window, stonework and wrought iron work was carried out by our specialist contractors.
A major aspect of the contract was the erection of the huge scaffolding - carried out by Newtell Scaffolding Ltd.
Greenough & Sons are now listed as Heritage Registered with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, with Jonathon Greenough having gained the prestigious 'Heritage Master' certificate, and Daniel Greenough registered as a 'Heritage Craft Roofer'.
